Will Hammers Stick A Nail In United's Hopes?

by Bodog Beat News Ticker,

Alex Ferguson

West Ham matches against Manchester United are always tasty affairs but never more so since Sir Alex Rednose accused the Hammers of "cheating their manager" during the tail end of the 95 season.

The Glaswegian´s comments came after a mid table West Ham side - that had little to play for - worked their socks off to earn a 0-0 draw at Upton Park. How can a team that played so well against United only finish mid table was Ferguson´s general gist.

And Fergie fumed like never before as Blackburn Rovers eventually won the title by a single point. Can the Hammers stick another nail into the Red Devils´s title dreams? The similarities between 95 and 08 are certainly there and rarely will Chelsea fans be cheering on their London rivals with such gusto.

West Ham are certainly bogey side material as far as United are concerned and are looking for an incredible fourth consecutive victory over their illustrious opponents. That makes Bodog´s West Ham win odds look very tempting indeed.

United will approach the game in great heart having booked their place in the Champions League final but are sure to miss rugged centre-half Nemanja Vidic. Against the midget men of Barcelona the absence of Vidic´s height wasn´t an issue but with big Dean Ashton putting his weight about the United defence will be tested in the air.

Can Deano bring Old Trafford to its knees on Saturday? You never know. To make some dosh bet on football with Bodog's Premier League odds.
