Who Is The World's Fastest Man?

Bodog Sport is right in the thick of what bears all the hallmarks of being the greatest 100 metre battle of all time between Tyson Gay, Usain Bolt and Asafa Powell.
Until this week many believed it was strictly a two-man fight between Gay and world record holder Bolt but Powell´s triumph over Bolt in Stockholm has altered the form radically.
The current odds are Gay 5/4, Bolt 7/4 and Powell 11/4.
The win in Sweden must have been sweet revenge for Powell, who saw fellow Jamaican Bolt claim his world record in June. The 25-year-old scorched home in 9.88 seconds - a hundredth of a second ahead of Bolt to give him his third straight Stockholm win.
Bolt established the new world record of 9.72 in New York at the end of May, eclipsing Powell's mark of 9.74.
For those who fancy a poke at bigger odds it is worth noting the performance of Norwegian sprinter Jaysuma Saidy Ndure who finished third in Stockholm a time of 10.06. Ndure currently trades at 33/1 and looks a progressive sort.
The Stockholm run was a seasonal best for Powell - a clear indication that he is timing his form perfectly for Beijing.
But we´ll get more clues this week as the two will be competing at Crystal Palace. Sadly Bolt has opted to run in the 200m but Gay will be in south London to take on Powell in the 100m. If Powell prevails there don´t expect his current odds of 11/4 to last long.
