Rafael Nadal To Win A Fourth French Open?

Sunday is the big day for tennis as the French Open kicks off at the Stade De Roland Garros. Of course we Brits will be rooting for Scottish tantrum aficionado Andy Murray, and since other British hopefuls like Katie O'Brien and Alex Bogdanovich crashed in and out of the qualifiers.

Let's face it we all know that Murray loses his rag more often than not, despite giving more apologies than a wife-beater. Everyone knows that if God made man from mud then that man was Rafael Nadal, the God of Clay who has wiped the floor (pardon the pun) with everyone else for the last three French Open tournaments.

He certainly gets Murray's vote:

"He's the only player I've seen on the tour right now who can slide with the right leg and the left leg. When he goes for the backhand he slides on the right leg, when he goes to the forehand he slides on his left leg. It's a very hard thing to do. Federer, Djokovic and myself tend to slide just on one leg. He can do that on both."

The Scotsman will face Frenchman Jonathan Eysseric in the first round. If he keeps his cool he could go on to meet Dominik Hrbaty or Jose Acasuso. Meanwhile Roger Federer faces American Sam Querrey and managed to avoid Novak Djokovic who takes on German Denis Gremelmayr in the first round.

For the ladies Maria Sharapova has shuffled up a notch in the rankings with the retirement of Justine Henin, and she takes on Evgeniya Rodina. Serena Williams has been drawn against fellow American Ashley Harkelroad.

So there you have it, who and what in the French Open, to put some hard cash down on whether Rafael Nadal goes all the way then check out Bodog's Tennis Specials.
