Nadal Ready To Paste Federer At Wimbledon 2008

What a bleeding bunch of kill-joys we are, no sooner has Rafael Nadal scored a blinder by beating the pants off Roger Federer at Roland Garros and bagging his fourth French Open win, that we're getting the bleeding knives out. Like a bloody bunch of old women prattling on about how he'll never do the same on grass - nothing like a bit of encouragement! (and a sack of sour grapes.)
Well it's a good job that the Spaniard has faith in himself because he's ready to paste Federer at Wimbledon too. He said:
"If I can have a very good result here it is going to be very important for me. It's going to be very important in the first matches. If you can win the first two, three matches, later is a little bit easier. I know the grass is a difficult surface for me, but probably I play my best tennis in this surface too."
So far he hasn't been able to get one over on Federer on grass at the last few Queen's Club outings but is hoping to change that. He said:
"The final last year in Wimbledon was the best and worst moment on grass for me. I played an unbelievable match, but at the same time I lost a good chance to win my favourite tournament. For me is important to play good in every surface. Grass is another surface. Wimbledon is a very important tournament and so is improving on every surface."
Give the lad a chance is what we say, Andy Murray is turning into a bit of a wet lettuce dare we say!!
