Jose Hands Title To Fergie

Us motley crew at the Beat always thought there was something suspicious about the seemingly love / hate relationship between Jose Mourinho and Sir Alex Ferguson. The press would build up a war of words between the two and then we´d hear about the pair sharing bottles of vintage wine after games.
But now the truth is out. They were best muckers all along and thanks to Jose´s latest move; Fergie is in for the easiest title procession of his career.
By lining up Frank Lampard for Inter Milan, Mourinho is effectively pulling the carpet under any chance Chelsea had of winning the title. And let´s face it, Chelsea are United´s only realistic challengers.
Arsenal don´t have a prayer of attaining 83 points again with their current squad and could be losing Emmanuel Adebayor, and as for Liverpool, let's just say that without Fernando Torres they would struggle to make the top half of the table.
Lamps scored 20 goals for Chelsea last season despite missing a fair chunk of the campaign through injury and is currently the top scorer playing at the club with 110 strikes in his Blues´ career.
Anyone who thinks Felipe Scolari signing Deco will bridge that gap needs their head examining. The Brazilian-born midget won´t be able to cope with the physical demands of the Premiership and will turn out to be one of the biggest flops of all time.
And if Mourinho nicking Lampard wasn´t enough there is also talk of Didier Drogba joining Inter as well. If that happens United will probably have the title race sewn up by February.
