Holy Moly More Ear-biting?

We're not quite sure what to think about Mike Tyson saying he wants to fight Evander Holyfield, again. Perhaps he's hungry or bored or just out of cash. Let's face it there's not a great deal to look forward to in the 'Pugilists Coping With Ageing Handbook.'  Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and the like, coaching, setting up your own gym. Even Lean, Mean Grilling Machines are out of the question since Georgie boy cottoned onto that one.

So I guess it's a case of looking through the little black book of old foes and giving them a bell. Tyson might be the sprightlier spring chicken of the two at a ripe old 41 but Holyfield still has his hinge in tact at 45. Tyson could however be lusting for a win, he never got one the first time when the two heavyweights met in 1996, and in 1997 - well we all know about the ear-biting that lead to the disqualification. But Holyfield did tell the Guardian newspaper that Tyson's trainer Jeff Fenech called him a few months ago to see if he would get in the ring for the third time. He said:

"There has been some talk between us. Jeff says Mike wants to fight me again - but he needs to know if I would agree to it. I said, 'It all depends on what they are going to give us - because I'm gonna catch a lot of flak if I say I'm fighting Mike Tyson again. I've already said I don't want to fight Mike no more'."

Don't blame you mate - it probably took years of reconstructive surgery to get that cauliflower ear back into shape!
