Drogba Reckons Moscow Beckons

Remember being at school all cocky to be picked for the first team, already thinking of the glory when you beat the poncy school a few miles away in a nice little tournament. Imagine being the top goal scorer, the rush of wind in your hair and the good honest sweat of champions. It felt great, then before you know it that lad Jimmy comes shunting in with his bad tackle and bang your ankle's a gonner. Yes it's gutting, you're rolling around in pain and wonder whether you'll make it to the next game?
Well imagine John Terry and Didier Drogba at the weekend, nuts of steel they may have but I bet they still cried like babies when it came to the thought of missing the Champions League Final in Moscow on May 21 all because of the shitty 1-1 result against Bolton, hardly worth the pain of popped knee and elbow methinks.
Drogba told a French newspaper recently that this was a biggie for him and Terry, and it looks like he's ready to do anything to get even with Man U. About his team mate, he said:
"I have spoken to him. He will play in Moscow. No one wants to miss this gigantic match."
Drogba has underplayed his injury saying that it was "nothing serious" and despite re-igniting his old knee injury he is willing to forego this to play in what he has described as "the match of our careers."
We can't agree more!
