Oooh he's a right classy sod that Cristiano Ronaldo, he's got the moves on the pitch alright but he's a right proper oil slick off it, and nay we don't mean that in the most flattering way! So the bit of alleged gold-digging stuff that is the new girlfriend Nereida Gallardo must be a bit miffed that the Man U golden boy is scrimping out with a recycled ring for their loving union!
Yes you heard it hear first the other day, Ron and new missus are allegedly tying the knot although the crafty bugger said he'd only do it if Portugal won Euro 2008 - nothing like a nice get out clause. But Ron's none too generous when it comes to bearing gifts because the very same rock was spotted on the finger of his TV presenter ex Merche Romero. The two dated in 2006 for eight months and were planning to wed until Romero dumped him in October of that year. A source told the Sun Newspaper:
"Cristiano is generous with gifts to girlfriends. It looks like it cost a few quid so maybe he is recycling it."
Yeah looks like it!! But looking at old Gallardo we reckon she's none too fussy!
