Chelsea FC Hollywood Makeover

If footy clubs were supermodels then we reckon that Manchester United would be the fiery, unpredictable and deadly kind - a bit like that stroppy mare Naomi Campbell. And Chelsea FC would consider itself to be a bit exotic, sultry and always well sought after in celebrity circles, say a bit like Gisele Bundchen.
This could have more to do with ownership and managerial status than anything else but who knows. In any case Chelsea FC are totally rating their sex appeal and are having a makeover. No Roman Abramovich hasn't gone mad and started taking lessons in looks from hottie girlfriend Dasha. He's just gone and signed the Chelsea FC brand to Creative Artists Agency in the States to make the brand go global.
A deal has been struck with the powerful talent agency that deals with the likes of George Clooney and Tom Cruise. CAA Sports will be involved in areas of corporate partnership development, athlete marketing, branding and touring. They even brokered the deal that brought David Beckham to LA Galaxy.(Less said about that the better - mind you they took him off our hands so, small mercies huh?) Chelsea chief exec Peter Kenyon has ants in his pants about it and said:
"Chelsea is delighted to be partnering with CAA Sports. (CAA) has unparalleled experience across a whole variety of areas that appeals to Chelsea. Together we can build on Chelsea's global business reputation, its unique position as the only soccer club in the centre of London, our talent, and our desire to be seen also as a force for good in our local community and around the world."
So time for football to get sexy!! We reckon Pete fancies himself in Tinseltown, aye. Reeled in good and proper!
