Can't See The Woods For The Knees!

Not only is Tiger Woods the greatest player the game has ever seen, he´s also a pretty fine actor. Injured knee? Pull the other one mate. All those winces and feigning agony whenever he played a shot at Torrey Pines were pure illusion.
And oh how everyone seems to have bought it. But not us at Bodog Beat.
Had there been the slightest chance Woods´s "injury" would have lowered his chances of winning the US Open there is absolutely no way he would have teed off. Tiger is a perfectionist you see.
Next time Woods plays a shot out of a bunker, make a note of the song and dance he makes about sand going in his eyes, as if blinded by tear gas. No other player on Tour reacts like that. It´s all part of his routine.
Those golf journalists slavvering at the chops over Woods´ feats in California seem to have forgotten that to play a round of golf you don´t need to be 100% fit.
In a five hour round a player probably spends no more than two minutes striking a ball. Sports like football, tennis and boxing, where physical fitness is vital, are obviously a different kettle of fish, but not golf. That´s why people like John Daly have won two Majors.
In the aftermath of his play-off win Woods is now publicly doubting whether he will be fit for the British Open in July. Yeah, sure thing Tiger. You´ll be there all right and well you know it.
