Ronson Gets Go Ahead To Date Daisy Lowe
Apparently Primrose Hill party girl Pearl Lowe has given her approval to Mark Ronson's relationship with her 18 year old daughter Daisy.
We're sure Mark and Daisy are both delighted but bearing in mind Pearl's past it was probably unlikely that she'd stamp her Jimmy Choo's up and down and kick up a stink. Pearl has been there, done that and worn the T-Shirt on more than one occasion and has led the kind of lifestyle that most lacemakers have nightmares about.
We say lacemakers as Pearl has now retired from her part-time model, singer and drug addict past to become a renowned textile and lace designer in sleepy Hampshire.
Before the world of lace curtains, doilies and soft furnishings Pearl was a bit of a goer by all accounts. She's been with Supergrass drummer Danny Goffey (and also son of Chris Goffey who used to host Top Gear in the olden days) for a good few years now and they have three children including the lovely Daisy. Before domestic bliss in Hampshire they were part of the infamous Primrose Hill set that included Kate Moss, Jude Law, Sadie Frost, Rhys Ifans and Davinia Murphy amongst others.
According to her autobiography, at her worst, she was £600,000 in debt, spending £250 a night on charlie and the subject of the most lurid headlines imaginable. Pretty standard stuff for Primrose Hill in the nineties and early noughties!
And what were those lurid headlines if you need reminding? Just the usual stuff - allegedly wife swapping with Jude and Sadie, drug orgies and toddlers necking pills in Soho House, that kind of thing. To be fair a relationship with a bloke 13 years older, even if he is mates with Amy Winehouse is the equivalent of a Horlicks addiction for the Primrose Hill set of old.
Pearl has said that she doesn't consider the 13-year age gap between the couple unusual, describing the Anglo-American, transatlantic DJ / Producer type as a "gentleman".
"I've got no problem with the age gap. He's a gentleman and he's really looking after her. I could imagine them being together in the long term. The only thing that could come between them is that they both work really hard."
Yup working hard and maybe the odd threesome, foursome, orgy - that kind of thing….
