Peaches 'n Cream - Geldof's Girl Gets Hitched!
Beat's favourite fruit based celebrity has done it again. Just weeks after a bit of an OD, or bad trip, or competitive dieting feinting Peaches Geldof has gone and got herself hitched.
Peaches married in cream and Max Drummey from indie band Chester French, her rocker boyfriend of four weeks in what looked like a charity shop shirt and H&M sunglsasses. It was a 'low key affair' in the romantic setting of the Little White Chapel in Vegas. If the marriage lasts as long as the whirlwind romance then Beat will eat Bob Geldof's plimsolls.
Unsurprisingly Bob wasn't at the "low-key ceremony" but according to the obligatory spokesman, "Their marriage has the full support of their family and friends."
It gets better; he went on to say, "They did not want unnecessary publicity. But, following growing media speculation, have decided to set out the facts." Peaches not wanting publicity? What else has she got we have to ask…
Peaches met Max a year ago but romance blossomed last month at the iTunes London Festival which she 'hosted'. A pal of Peaches said, "She had a row with Faris four days before she went away. She said she wanted to get rid of the matching tattoo she had done with him. The next thing we know she is with Max. She then turned up wearing a wedding ring – saying they were married."
Another 'pal' obviously part of the inner sanctum said: "She and Max started going out about two months ago and talked about marriage in vague terms. When they got to Las Vegas, it just felt like it was the right time and the right place. Both had tried to keep a lid on their romance, but now the news has leaked out."
Well we guess a wedding certificate is easier to get rid of than a matching tattoo.
The photographer also has something to say calling Peaches "demanding and kind of arrogant", surely not the same lovely, non drug using waste of space we all know and love?
Bob Geldof has yet to comment but we can imagine it will go something like this, "***** **** ***** **** **** *****"
