Peaches Geldof Overdose And Hair Dye Story
Beat is never one to jump straight into a story head first without checking the full facts and developing a well rounded opinion. That's why we've waited until today to add our two penneth worth into the Peaches Geldof mysterious 'OD' story.
It appears that there are a few theories for Peaches little resuscitation incident knocking about, with the current favourites being her 'competitive' dieting or the hair dye she uses to dye her hair blonde.
She hasn't been snorting lines of ammonia or injecting Just for Men into her eyeballs as far as we can make out but according the Ooh Ahh Daily Star she forgot to open a window before she started dying her hair ahead of Monday's Batman premiere. The fumes then caused her to pass out.
Beat has run this past some people that know about such things and we're sorry, we just ain't buying it.
Her agent, Andy Varley, said: "Peaches has made a full recovery from the minor incident reported in yesterday's papers. After attending last night's Batman premiere in Leicester Square, she is looking forward to work as usual today."
Minor incident? Surely if a bottle of hair dye is causing people to pass out in what we can only assume to be a fairly large flat then at least a call to Watchdog would be in order? And exactly what 'work' is she going to be doing as usual anyway?
However the bit we loved in the wonderful Daily Star piece was the claim from friends that Peaches had told them that she'd never dare go to the Dark Knight premiere after Heath Ledger's tragic death if she was still on the Charlie. The fact she was there proves once and for all that she's off it according the Star. Of course Peaches love, of course.
Another theory being touted is her competitive dieting with sister Pixie. In a desperate bid to lose more weight than her sister as they race to size zero she overdid it which made her a bit light headed.
So there you have it, two very plausible and not at all unreasonable reasons and far more believable than a 19 year old IT girl overdoing it on the class A's.
As if that wasn't enough for poor old Bob to contend with, another story is rearing its ugly head in the press today. Peaches allegedly left a shopping list of drugs scrawled on a note in a pub, she was said to be after some weed, viagra and coke amongst some other goodies. We can only assume she wasn't on the way to Lidl.
A spokesperson for Peaches last night said, "We cannot speculate on a list when there is no proof that Peaches wrote it."
