Madge And Guy Hit The Courts

by Bodog Beat News Ticker,

Madonna And Guy To Divorce

No readers, Madge and Guy haven't been spotted at Wimbledon, or on the public tennis courts of Bayswater dusting off their rackets for the obligatory two weeks of summer tennis, no they are getting divorced.

Let's face it, divorce has been on the cards pretty much from the minute the ink was dry on their marriage license, but now it seems the end is finally nigh for Madge and Guy 's seven year marriage as the show biz pair head to the divorce courts.  Talk about itches, but let's be frank and fair, seven years in celebland is pretty much ruby anniversary equivalent in real life world where Beat lives.

Rumours of the marriage being on the rocks have refused to go away for months but now it seems a divorce is definitely something that Guy must face, along with actually doing some director type work and releasing a film watched by more than three Lock Stock fans. Madonna has kickstarted the preparations and hired top divorce lawyer Fiona Shackleton, the one who famously represented Paul McCartney in his acrimonious divorce with Mucca.

Unlike the Mucca v Macca split the Madge vs Mr Madge case is said to be amicable and the relationship is said to have merely run its course. They are still living together but sleep in separate bedrooms on different levels of the house, Madge downstairs in the granny flat we presume.  A source close to the couple said:

'They live like brother and sister rather than husband and wife and thought it best to call it a day", loosely translated this means the sex is dead and they can't stand the sight of each other.

Back in 2005 her madgesty said of her hubby: "My husband didn't turn out to be everything I imagined him to be".  Yup and we're sure Guy didn't expect his wife to turn into slightly paler and more veiny version of The Hulk.

Despite having no pre-nupt in place Guy is no material boy and is said to have no interest in claiming any of the queen of pops estimated $600 million fortune. Despite talk of lawyers and settlements friends haven't ruled out reconciliation and believe divorce talk could just be a tactic from the material girl to call Mr Ritchie's bluff and "jolt the marriage back to life".

Poor confused old dear, she's obviously confused by the concept of divorce, it's not often used as pillow talk but whatever works for ya Madge.
