Is Haifa Wehbe The New Shakira?

The New Shakira

At Bodog Towers we are a very discerning lot when it comes to fit women, you just have to look at our Bodog Girls to see what we're talking about. But we would say despite the bad press we Brits get regarding our alleged prudishness, we know a great pair of tits when we see them.

OK we may not be Italian lotharios but we can dish it out and can most certainly take it. We got to pondering this most glorious state of the British social sexual psyche when we came across the uproar that a certain ex beauty queen is causing in Bahrain. Haifa Wehbe is a raunchy Lebanese singer (we reckon she's the new Shakira by the way - image courtesy of Epic) and she's ripping through Bahrain like a dose of clap in footballers changing room.

All but one of the big wigs at the Islamic Parliament have vetoed the singer's first performance from taking place due to the sexually provocative nature of the star's performance. Wehbe is a massive star throughout the Middle East and started her career off at the tender age of 16 after winning the Miss South Lebanon beauty contest, she won some more, became a model, made some albums and now is contravening the Bahraini Islamic tenets and traditions and basically getting everybody hot under the collar.

Organisers had promised she would dress modestly during the show, but this may not be enough if what her opponents say is true - and may we say that we can't wait to see that she can move every possible part of her body including parts that have no muscles in them. The skillful young lady was accused of speaking with her body and not her voice. We're all ears. She said:

"I know my fans want me and I am there for them - I am not concerned with the other issues." Well said love! Bet on celebrity in Bodog's Celebrity Specials.
