Has Amy Been Axed From Bond?

Ah so Amy Winehouse has been scrubbed off the soundtrack of the new Bond flick Quantum Of Solace. Rumours are flying that the Rehab singer has been dropped after DJ mate Mark Ronson told reporters that he had axed his collaboration with Wino due to her not being "ready" to work on music.

Unless it's the melody of the crack rocks or hubble bubble of the bong our Amy is out for the count! But Wino contrary to rumour said she had finished the song on the 24th May but isn't sure whether it would get the go ahead from film bosses. To add insult to injury she could be replaced by bootlicious Bouncey Knowles to record the theme tune! Of course none of this is confirmed (it never is!)

But Wino is by no means dead and buried and from being a musical muse to a fashion one – but now it looks like she's turned up on the educational circuit too. No it's not the latest public information film on "how not to screw your life up in one move."

She's found her way into the Cambridge University exam papers alongside Shakespeare, Milton and a few other musty old poets. Don't get us wrong we appreciate a bit of poetry now and again. Anyhow Amy found her way into the Practical Criticism paper where the lyrics to 'Love is a Losing Game' were compared to a work by Sir Walter Raleigh.

Ah the national curriculum (or whatever it is these days) isn't what it used to be bring back proper exams is what we say!!
