George and Geri Play Looney Tunes!
We reckon Gorgeous George Clooney must be barking if his aspirations reach the 'dizzy heights' of Geri Halliwell! Yes you read correctly, but thankfully for us and the men in the white coats he's just gushing on and on about his new found status of charity lovey! He was named as the United Nations Messenger of Peace for the humanitarian work he carried out in Darfur, Sudan.
For those of you who might remember, Geri Halliwell regained some popularity an eon ago (although we might add she had to engage in a very pathetic but well documented program of bulimia and extreme exercise to do so!!) as a UN Ambassador.
Back to George, he said he thought that the ginge was very inspiring in her work with UNICEF and Marie Stopes. That's the sexual health charity to you and me! Here's what he had to say:
"And her address at a UN Youth summit in 2000 was brave - it's so easy to not get involved and she just gritted her teeth and went for it." Aaaah bless you!
He added: "She was always my favourite Spice Girl; I loved her feisty approach and the fact she wasn't afraid to have an opinion." Well, we shall see if George can follow suit!
