Eddie Murphy Shuns Kid
Eddie Murphy's a funny one. We still can't get over the fact that he got Scary Spice Mel B up shit creek without a paddle. That's tantamount to watching your parents at it. Anyway he did the dirty and then wiped it and his hands of the whole affair - wanting nothing to do with Mel. (He probably took off the beer goggles). Mel, we can understand but the baby? OK us guys aren't normally into babies and stuff but sometimes (usually if it's a boy and it belongs to us) we might show an interest in it.
But Eddie's having none of it because he thinks Mel tricked him into having the baby. Not that we condone a kid growing up without it's dad being a round, but we have to say that Eddie's got a bit of a point. If our Mel did allegedly say she'd taken care of things in that department, and hadn't and then told a few porkies, we could understand old Ed getting the hump. But we don't like to speculate on conjecture.
Mel's lawyer Gloria Allred said: "I think it's sad and inexcusable that Mr. Murphy chooses to punish his baby by refusing to visit her or be involved emotionally or in person in her life. It's shocking that he continues to refuse to be involved with his daughter and that he has intentionally missed the precious first year of her innocent life."
She forget to comment about a report in which Eddie claims Mel had told him she was on birth control pills. Next thing we predict here at Bodog is that Murphy's successful sperm will get itself a laywer and sue.
