Amy Winehouse Released From Hospital
We're a very caring lot here at Bodog Beat UK, we don't like to see anyone suffering least of all our favourite side show freak, Amy Winehouse. So you can imagine that since we're tighter than a fish's arse when it comes to hanging with the Wino, we've had all manner of calls to the Bodog phone.
Aye we loving jest with the Wino but only in the way a caring sibling would, lo and behold if anyone else has a go at her we're like that staffy from the estate. Anyway our Amy is a delicate little flower she's sensitive and susceptible.
And no more so than when she reacts to her medicines, like yesterday. She was admitted to London's University College Hospital after suffering an adverse reaction to God only knows what. Her rep Chris Goodman told us that she's perked up and spent a "comfortable night" in hospital. He said:
"She had a bit of a scare yesterday because of a reaction to treatment. She was kept in overnight purely for observation."
According to Amy's dad Mitch:
"(She is) right as rain. Amy's responded well to treatment. I must admit, it was very frightening last night, seeing her in that state. But she is with good friends, not hangers-on."
Although we're wondering whether Amy's been dipping into the bathroom cabinet again. Mitch added:
"The doctors say it was an adverse reaction to prescription drugs or mixing them up. They are not sure exactly what happened and they have done tests on her. We are waiting for the results of the toxicology report later today."
