Wino Gets Away With Drug-taking On Film
Hmmm kids…drugs are baaad!
But not if you're Amy Winehouse, because the Wino can do no wrong and like Kate Moss before her the more she stuffs up her nose the more popular she becomes. No crack, vein or scab is safe from the need to get high and the fashion world from Julian McDonald to Karl Lagerfeld are gagging for more.
The law have said that despite Wino being caught on video smoking a crack pipe, this is not evidence of her habit and subsequently no charges will be filed against the singer. She was questioned at an East London police station last Wednesday but there's nothing to follow up on. Amy's spokesman said:
"Police have confirmed that no action will be taken against Amy Winehouse in relation to an investigation into a video handed to them in January. She was questioned by police last week and released on unconditional bail. They have now concluded their enquiries and no charges will be brought."
Wino was recently seen swapping scabs with Pete Doherty after his release from the pokey the other day. What a pair, our money is on a sexual hook-up between these two or at least some dodgy drug-fuelled fumblings. Mind you if Pete stays over at Wino's Camden flat again they could yet trade fluids! Wino's rep added:
"Amy is pleased to be able to move on and concentrate on music and particularly looks forward to seeing her fans again at eagerly awaited festival performances this summer."
We can only live in hope!
