Conservative leader David Cameron has been rather vocal about his opposition to Britain's first super-casino so it might come as a shock to know that he's the first in line for a cash handout from Finnish casino tycoon Poju Zabludowicz.

Listed 24th in The Times Rich List Zabludowicz, is said to be worth around four billion dollars. But now he is one of the Conservative Party's financial backers, and his company The Tamares Group, which owns The Plaza Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas is reported to have donated approximately £70,000 to David Cameron's leadership campaigns for the last three consecutive years.

A Conservative Party spokesperson said, "There is no secret about the fact that he is a 'nondomicile' but he has given through his UK limited companies and it is completely above board."

Zabludowicz's spokesperson said, "It's the company rather than him personally that gives to the Conservatives."

So there you have it!
