Kevin Keegan Leaves Newcastle United

Keegan Leaves Newcastle

It was bound to happen. King Kev is no more. The silver haired and apparently mild mannered gaffer of Newcastle United has departed the club after eight months in charge. To be fair noone expected the ex England manager’s reign to last as long as it did.

Rumour has it that he wasn’t too chuffed with the lack of control over transfers and he may have expressed his concerns with the board on tuesday. Not so mild mannered after all, Keegan upset the apple cart (owner Mike Ashley) by suggesting that Newcastle wouldn’t penetrate the top 4 during his reign. His exact words were, "maybe the owner thinks we can bridge that gap but we can’t", blimey no wonder they got …

Is Amir Khan Ready For The Title?

Is Amir Khan Ready For TheTitle?

Alice has had some twentieth century screen time but, sadly, her character was only judged worthy enough to feature in some made for tv tosh called ‘The New …

Manchester City Sign Robinho

by Bodog Beat News Ticker,
Robinho Signed To City

Man Utd may have finally signed Dimitar Berbatov, but it was their city rivals who stole the show on transfer deadline day with the amazing signing of Robinho from Real Madrid.

The Brazilian striker was expected to either sign for Chelsea, or stick it out at Real – until Man City came blazing in with an offer of £32.5m. That’s a new British transfer record, and Real snatched their hands off. Robinho, perhaps a little perplexed by it all, found himself sitting down for urgent talks with Mark Hughes instead of Luiz Scolari, and now City have recruited the kind of talented superstar which could push them on to another level.

“I’m delighted to get the opportunity to work with such …
