The Art Of Deception

"Kate Moss loses her panties", said the link as I was going through the week´s news items over a morning cuppa. I´ll have some of that I murmured as I clicked my mouse button.

"Fashion model Kate Moss has been dropped by underwear firm Agent Provocateur for a younger model," blah, blah, blah…

Bah. It´s a disgrace the way these links lure you in.

Some smart Alec will no doubt be grinning smuggishly to them self after coming up with that one.

Talking of being lured in. How about being one of the 15,000 Man City fans who bought a season ticket before the end of last season looking forward with optimism to another term with Sven Goran Eriksson at the helm.

Euro 2008 - The Ronaldo Show

After a highly successful series of tournaments, one could assume that the Olympic Poker Club would be tired of monkeyin’ around but they have no plans to leave a gap …

Euro 2008! Can't Wait!

Euro 2008 Can't Wait!

Euro 2008 is an international tournament with a difference. Why? Because England aren’t in it (yeah, thanks for nothin’ Steve McClaren!). So, instead of a summer spent swilling lager, face-painted up and watching England stumble about with a mix of apprehension and bitter disappointment, it’s all about enjoying the football instead. And that might not be too bad.

Let’s face it, who enjoys watching England in tournaments? It’s never good – a few pretty rubbish group games later, we usually scrape into the knockout stages and then crash out on penalties, and then spend the rest of the tournament moping around, wondering why our players always stink the place out.

None of that this time. This time we can watch the matches …
