Here we go again on another on / off, are they, aren’t they? sham of a showbiz wedding.  Apparently the diva of all divas Mariah Carey has wed her little known toyboy rapper Nick Cannon in a not so secret ceremony in the Bahamas. Or maybe she hasn’t, or maybe she has but it’s not recognised by US law etc etc

Apparently Primrose Hill party girl Pearl Lowe has given her approval to Mark Ronson’s relationship with her 18 year old daughter Daisy.

We’re sure Mark and Daisy are both delighted but bearing in mind Pearl’s past it was probably unlikely that she’d stamp her Jimmy Choo’s up and down and kick up a stink.  Pearl has been there, done that and worn the T-Shirt on more than one occasion and has led the kind of lifestyle that most lacemakers have nightmares about.

There has been plenty of activity in Manchester over the last few days: Ferguson’s United win a semi final against Barcelona whilst playing like Liverpool; Eriksson’s City reach 9th place whilst playing like a football side (and the manager is probably rewarded with the sack); and Marc Goodwin has won the 4th leg of the 2008 Grosvenor UK Poker Tour.

The final 9 featured the usual smattering of circuit pros and online qualifiers, but Charles Ilhe took time off from his job as a kitchen designer to sit at the table and craft a 4th place finish.
