Snooker owes a lot to Ronnie O´Sullivan for keeping what is sometimes a struggling sport on the front and back pages and his lewd comments at the recent China Open have again created plenty of publicity.

Oh dear it looks like Amy Winehouse needs to pay heed because her career as sultry soul singer maybe on its way down the pan. Lucian Grainge the European boss of Wino’s record label, Universal has warned her to stay out of trouble or they won’t be releasing another album. A source told the Sun:

“Amy has been reminded of her responsibilities. Unless she is clean she will not be allowed to release another album. She took notice when Lucian talked to her earlier in the year and agreed to go to rehab. But she didn’t take it seriously enough. They would never release her from her deal; they would just not put an album out."

Publicity junkie and hotel heiress Paris Hilton was upstaged by a horse during a night out in London hot spot and royal watering hole, Mahiki.

You know Paris is in town when all the major players in the publicity whore stakes come out to play. Holding onto her crown for dear life Paris made a paid appearance at London nightspot Mahiki. Parlours, prostitutes, punch-ups and Premierships… Wayne Rooney is only 22 but he´s certainly packed a fair bit into his short life.

And England´s best player by some distance looks set to add another notch on the totem pole of life according to national manager Fabio Capello.
